Nissan owns the patent for Birds Eye view parking. Tesla would have to pay them to implement it.
Well, many OEM pay it.. why wouldn’t Tesla just turn it into a recurring revenue stream? Tack $20-$25 a year into customer payment streams, pay the royalty - if there is one much to amount to. Tesla wants to build some type of APP store into their cars, this could be just that. Market would love it.

Most believe it will be UI v12 update not FSD. We'll see.
Yea all but certain it CAN'T be FSD V12. No way Tesla will release it without the careful SLOW rollout testing/bug fixing as done on every version since 10.3.1. Anyone who lived through 10.3 would KNOW Tesla learned a hard lesson that won't be repeated.

I'll NEVER forget my first day with 10.3.

Tesla has just pushed the holiday update to employees within the last hour! We’ve been made aware that this update includes a strict non-disclosure reminder, so we’ve chosen to withhold sharing details for the moment. One employee we spoke to was very excited though.

Since V12 is almost certainly not included, how about eliminating the wheel nags as a consolation.
FSD 12 was a target for the holiday release but it's unlikely at this point since it hasn't expanded past the initial internal group.
But it doesn't mean FSD 12 features like Actually Smart Summon and Autopark features can't be released for testing by public testers in the meantime (those on 11.4.7.x/11.4.8.x)

Teslascope also pointed out that the Holiday Update release notes came from a car outside of North America, so there wouldn't be any FSD language in the release notes if there are actually FSD updates planned by the time it releases in the US

Must be sloppy release notes then. Outside of North America, you almost always call something other than 911 in emergencies.
