What are you going to do with your MYLR order, now that you took delivery of the MYP? I feel like I want to call first dibs if you decide not to take your VIN LOL.
Not sure. My parents may take it. I may just put it on hold, keep the price locked in and see if I want to change next year if upgraded battery etc. Hopefully would be able to sell MYP for a good price if I decide to that.

He has arrived. Car in great condition construction wise. Delivery detailing is lacking though. Still inspecting but looks good so far

Maybe you can..... I just opened the "Source" page for my tesla order, and found this timestamp (matches my hold release date + profile completion date):

Check yours, maybe it just shows original profile completion date, maybe latest completion date. I don't know.

Edit: This may be specific to Registration details "Update" date.
I think you might be right... that date seems to align with when I updated my profile.
"lastUpdateDatetime":"2021-05-30T10:11:27"

Interesting... there is a lot of data in the JSON content in there.

Sadly, the value for the vin key for my MY order page is null. :(

"Vin":null

Mine says:
"lastUpdateDatetime":"2021-08-01T02:16:39"
And that is consistent with my Profile completion of July 31.

Note that the web page source of mine has two "lastUpdateDatetime" entries. The first is shown above; the second says:
"lastUpdateDateTime":"0001-01-01T00:00:00

The former is lastUpdateDatetime and the latter is lastUpdateDateTime

Got my VIN and delivery date set this morning. Home delivery set for Sunday the 12th from 8 AM to 12 PM.

All in all the process was pretty painless. Order date 8/8/21 and taking delivery 9/12/21.
Any recommendations for a window tinting shop in or around La?
Impressive wraps is asking $500 for dub ir tint.

That’s a shockingly fast turnaround! Did you order a MYP?

When do Tesla cars start counting as 2022 models? Is it manufactured date after October 1st? Or is it delivered after October 1st?

F = Fremont
M = 2021
N = 2022
So the VIN number will determine the model year. For the past several years, Tesla transitions to new models in October and that model year corresponds to the manufacture date (i.e. whatever model year the VIN code says it is). However, the latest NHTSA Tesla VIN decoder isn't published yet. So they may also be waiting to assign the factory code for Austin Texas (i.e. "A" or "T" or something else?). Here is the Tesla VIN decoder as of February 2021:

Manufacturers get to play these sorts of games with "model year". For example, Infiniti skipped 2005 for the "new" Mxx series of cars. So my early 2005 Infiniti M35 was a 2006 model year. Infiniti sold the "2006" model year for all of 2005 (staring Feb 2005) and all of 2006. Because it was a big update from the previous year ; that's why they wanted to skip 2005 (and they came out in Feb 2005 instead of Oct 2004; other motivation to skip 2005).

wow looks like Tesla is trying to squeeze you in for EOQ push but I wished I had your EDD my Order Date was 6/30..maybe they're pushing 7-seaters first? but who know how Tesla's algorithm works
There are some theories about making batches of certain specs and I happen to be in a batch that is supposed to be finished EOQ. We will see. I’m not holding my breath until I have a VIN. Although, I did order the mud flaps, wheel locks, and chargers.
