Well… here’s to a new week of hoping that it’s not like last week. Would love to see more than 2-3 vins a day. My excitement is burning out… need something to spark it again

In such a confined space I'm not sure 14 vs 17 speakers makes any difference. The quality of the speakers and other components is what really counts. In regards to break in that guy in the youtube video recently posted spews a lot of scientifically baseless info. I can't stand his videos. Speaker break in has been debated for decades but when looked at objectively there has not been any proven audible differences and whatever break in occurs happens in a very short period of time.

I could see it with paper cones that might have the fibers loosen up some but wouldn't expect it with well made speakers at all.In such a confined space I'm not sure 14 vs 17 speakers makes any difference. Yep. There is so much placebo, bias, psychology, etc in the audiophile world that gets inappropriately attributed to gear but never born out in true scientific testing.
EDD updated to June 19 - June 30 from June 26 - 30 in Denver w/ April 26 order, still no VIN so not a lot of confidence but I guess it’s a step in the better direction. I was fully expecting it to jump back to Jul - Sep. This wouldn’t be so annoying if there wasn’t trade-ins/sales and financing and crap that is both time sensitive and time restricted.
Got to love being on the east coast. Ordered first hour of release and now pushed back to July as of today and since I live in NJ this delay now costs me over 1k because of new EV registration rules coming into effect July 1
It’s definitely coming from the aero inserts because it stops when you remove them! You can actually replicate the sound by gently pushing and pulling on the aero insert themselves. Not sure theres a fix for this?
I know this has been said before but you really shouldn't get too hung up on your EDD changing. If you look at the tracker sorted by VIN assignment you can see there have been several people who have their EDD pushed back to July/Aug and then it updates and they get their VIN and a delivery date moved back to within a week of current date. Hold strong brother
Ordered 4/23 UR/BL for delivery in SF Bay Area. No changes to order. Prior to today, EDD had been June 10-June 30 when it changed to June 20-June 30. Still no VIN. Seems now unlikely that delivery will be completed before end of quarter, though being in the Bay Area could still make it possible, I suppose.
Yep I just got pushed back from June to July to July-August now to August-September.
I just moved to July 3rd to 31st with an order within the first 45 minutes in NY... (Previously June 15-30 and previously May 29-June 12 before that.

IIRC (some automotive) subwoofers use to have guidance on how long to play before going to max excursion, something about voice coil glue. It has been a while since I have been in that scene.

cdubois - Are you in the house? You got your VIN but no delivery date yet like me? The guy said that my car should have been delivered to Turning Stone Casino pickup location yesterday and said that they are getting the DMV paperwork done now. Did you get a delivery date?
It wasn’t 4k for performance trim. That all depends if there is money in the fund
