Yet another test mule with a yoke spotted at a Top Golf in San Jose. This one without interior trim. There sure do seem to be a whole lot of test mules out there for this thing. Is it normal for Tesla to have this many test cars out in the wild?

San Jose Top Golf Model S
Are they test cars, or “hey look at me!” cars?

@Desert Dave I am too lazy to go find all the pics shown but someone here surely looks at them daily and can find it easily: I believe there was a photo of the center screen that showed the glovebox button. It was the one where the photographer sat in it at the supercharger and was able to see the settings screen.

ETA: I think I found the pic I was looking for and I do not see it on that pic. I would say it has one but in Elon's world anything is possible.
Here is the picture that shows the glovebox release.

Early M3s had issue where if display was damaged in accident you couldn’t release glove box to get registration or insurance papers. I thought Elon added a manual release for it. I suspect we’ll have one as well.

Elon probably designed it for the car to "guess" when you want it opened...

I'm just not a fan of the black trim pieces. They make it look cheap. Anyone else think the same?
I love the chrome delete look. I paid to delete all my chrome on my MX and it looked really sharp. Maybe my service center got inspired and sent pics to corporate, after which Elon was like: “Yeah - that’s badass (as he turned to an intern), make that standard on our most badass cars.” Pretty sure that’s what happened.

looks like just the same x driving around the test track. no refresh s’s lined up for delivery
haven't seen any MS's on the lot in quite a long time from his flyovers. Sad. The one from earlier this week it woulda been awesome to see the semi, MX, and a MS, but worrisome that there aren't any MS out there at all for the last few weeks. but, hopefully they're hiding them somewhere in that massive factory hah

Another long range spotted... This one is particularly unique in that you can make out a small D by the hazard lights and rubber landmarks on the wheel

Thanks for sharing! These are one of the best pictures I've seen to date.

Though I've noticed some of the details are still to be worked out, hopefully they address these issues (or are they normal/acceptable?)
