Yes, one can only hope!I am hoping these are still either test mules or at least very early examples and they will be cleaned up at least a LITTLE in the next few through the line.

A rubber stopper to keep the leading edge from folding in too far....I am hoping these are still either test mules or at least very early examples and they will be cleaned up at least a LITTLE in the next few through the line.
I was just about to post this. It's on both sides. Reminds me of the vents on the Toyota Camry, although those are intentional and I'm not sure these are intentional
A picture is worth a thousand words?A rubber stopper to keep the leading edge from folding in too far....
These clearly are not intentional as you can see the rolled quarter panel metal - same as you would see if you pulled your current tail light.I was just about to post this. It's on both sides. At least, clean up or align the corners on the headlight, fender, and bumper. Makes me cross eyed looking at it.I am hoping these are still either test mules or at least very early examples and they will be cleaned up at least a LITTLE in the next few through the line.
Hey, I'm trying my best here! Will someone please take delivery of one of these re re re freshed Model S cars?! We need production delivered pictures of front, rear and charge port (open and closed) ASAP as these internet rumored photos just don’t cut it. Tesla can possible release production cars with this kind of crap, right? Right?
TL;DR is that it's technically feasible but unlikely to be offered - although even if it was, the part cost for one headlight is likely to be north of $2500 (as that's around what the current ones are). The cost of paying Tesla to retrofit would be far more expensive than just buying a new car and selling the old one.I heard that Model S is now getting the Matrix Headlight any chances of retrofit the Plaids without one ?
I would suggest “pragmatism” is the correct word here…@EndlessPlaid where are you? The thread is off the rails with negativity, it needs some Positivity quickly! Everyone wants the lights to fit and other such nonsense.
When I picked up my white/white LR last weekend, the FIRST thing my wife did when she walked around the back was point at the black bar across the rear/into the lights and say "I really like that bar. It complements the black part of the bottom of the bumper back there".makes the back look super plain with the body color crossbar, kind of a bummer.
About the same chance that Putin wont invade UkraineI heard that Model S is now getting the Matrix Headlight any chances of retrofit the Plaids without one ?
A bit of positivity... if Tesla offers a retrofit of the head & tail lights for $5k or less, I'd probably go for it.@EndlessPlaid where are you? The thread is off the rails with negativity, it needs some Positivity quickly! Everyone wants the lights to fit and other such nonsense.
Endless Refresh. We need to come up with a name for the refreshed refresh. FTD (fresh to death) Refresh? Refresh^2?

The white one is sporting the retrofit kit we are all waiting on… air vents included.Na it's either lighting or just something else. The red one has no such issue, and it looks EXCELLENT. I'm excited for this change.
