I would not be happy if my referrals were 'lost' to an employee or someone they gave it too. Hopefully Tesla makes changes for the next real program.
Does anyone know whether the referral program will be extended and what the buyer and seller benefits will be?

This has changed. It originally was supposed to end July 15th. They extended it two weeks.

To be honest once they hit the 200,000 mark and started the tax phaseout I thought this would be the end of it. I placed my order yesterday for that very reason. Might cancel and re-order later on now though. Just to give me more time to ponder my decision.
