Highest production VIN in the wild

Well, Y will be a Station wagon, just a little bit higher and called CUV ;)
  5. bambam4171

Highest production VIN in the wild

Can I have a station wagon version please, doesn't even matter what you call it. Sedans are for old people in Europe, station wagon version would sell like hot cakes.

You guys noticed the selloff just before trading ended? Additional shorts at this stage seem unlikely, some people cashing in on the rally?

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

I'm looking mostly at the tesla invites spreadsheet and new entries there seem far and few in between https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vSkckurdmbXt5Bh4dVenUhsjoal1Y6qRIkFBG_tcOhTxGp6xUL5j8DqkMPY0K9TfOCDz83A_7HGcQCl/pubhtml#

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

I do understand that, but as we are lacking VIN assignments it seems they are not sending tons of cars to Cananda, they also have no place to store them out of sight so the only conclusion is they don't produce as much, no?
  15. bambam4171

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

But that would mean, that they indeed are producing less now, right? Which of course could send the stock tumbling.
  16. bambam4171

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Well in the not so far past we had even good news ending in downward trend on $TSLA. Your guess is as good as mine :) Mine would be yes, I've said this before, I think we might go lower in the 320-330 area until the 5k/week numbers are confirmed. Which should be the moment of the real short...

Point taken. Thing is if shorts see this they will scream "manipulation"
  21. bambam4171

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Volume is high today and good progress. I personally just fear this is only short term. Who else thinks after some days it goes back to 320-330 until we have confirmation for 5k/week?

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

I hope they don't invest into a GF in Europe with manufacturing of the the Model 3 in mind. I hope they start right away with the Model Y. Europe loves stations wagons, SUV's, CUV's but no sedan's.
  25. bambam4171

Model S range and interior update imminent?

Yep, absolutely love that bright but toned interior. The white one is way to extreme, but cream with that "Scandinavian wood" looks marvelous.

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Not sure if this changes anything at all. If they so far paid for renewable electricity it could be zero improvement.

Follow-the-leader discussion out of Market Action

Reading Tesla's report Autopilot was nagging the driver much more to take over, reading the NTSB report the put more pressure on the AP accelerating right into the divider. Its the spin that concerns me.
  29. bambam4171

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

That report does not read like the Tesla one. Much more negative. I'm slightly concerned.

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Well every single manufacturer has a target for sub $100kw, but most assume that is something they might achieve in the years 2025-2030 ;)

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Porsche, BMW and other European Manufacturers have to cope with the fact that many models they sell can't be produced until next year because they have to match the new regulations. Now imagine having all this production capacity on stand-by for a year. Do you still think they can eat negative...

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

At a time where other EV manufacturers are shooting for sub $180kw/h this is indeed one of the most important news of the shareholder meeting. I can see other manufacturers delaying product launches because of this or only producing compliance cars because they have no way of competing with...
  39. bambam4171

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

The $100kw/h battery price is huge. Most manufacturers are currently trying to be below $180kw/h at Battery, not pack level. Battery most expensive thing in a EV the importance of this cannot be overstated.
  40. bambam4171

    Jaguar I-Pace

Yep and that is exactly the issue with the number of 4200 there. UK for example has ZERO CCS over 50kw, With batteries the size we are talking about here you can't call that "fast" by any standard. In fact I would call it useless. Who wants to spend several hours to recharge his battery on a...

Show me on the map, I can point out the 3 Ionity chargers but so far its not even sure Jag will be able to charge there.
  44. bambam4171

    Jaguar I-Pace

Tesla has already covered all of Europe. CCS chargers are just about starting in earnest, before we had this horrible mixture of everything available on the market. I don't see lack of CCS support as an issue at all. I do see lack of Supercharger support as a huge issue though. Maybe that...
  45. bambam4171

    Jaguar I-Pace

Think again. Supercharger network is now at 403 stations and many of those are not the paltry 6 charger stations that Ionity is deploying. Also Supercharger network is currently Tesla only. MB, Audi, Porsche, VW, Ford all have to share Ionity
  46. bambam4171

    Jaguar I-Pace

Yes, Ionity will eventually build 400 fast charging stations. But, they currently have 3 total in all of Europe, so plan accordingly. Second: Yes they can provide up to 350kw, if your car is able to take that. So far Mission E is the only one that can take it. Just for the laughs: Model 3 is...
