From the California Clean Fuel Reward website “The $1,500 maximum reward amount is for vehicle sales completed by 11/1/21; beginning 11/2/21 the maximum reward will be $750”.
That’s a bust the rebate is being cut in half.

Today, I entered to my EDD window.... EDD is 10/10 - 10-30...

From my experience, the EDD does not mean anything. My EED has moved several times, and each time it moved, I called my SA. Everytime I spoke to him, he told me my build date was still mid October. Even when my EDD jumped to 9/30-10/13, he told me the same thing-mid October. I also spoke to two other SA's in different locations and they BOTH told me that the build date was mid October. So, what I'm trying to say is, the EDD is BS and I believe that SA's can see extra things on their end. Some tell the customer more info than others.

My EDD shifted this morning to 10/18 - 11/15. My SA said I’m a mid-October build.
Hmmm mine still hasn’t moved but told the same. Seems we are already in mid-October (these 2weeks) or maybe need to wait til 15th/16th. We might all be on the same truck after all.

Then I probably shouldn’t get my hope up. I have the same config as you except without FSD, and my current EDD is similar to your previous one. They’ll probably push mine back soon

I test drove a few times and an SA helped answer and coordinate questions with me. She mentioned that she’s assigned to me since we have communicated via email.
Got TXT msg just now. Home delivery (rather than pickup) is scheduled on Tue 10/12.

Glad you received vin! Giving me hope, my EDD shift to 10/28 - 11/25 this morning from 10/9 - 11/3. OD 7/3 as well.
Yes, the "M" in position 10 in the VIN tells that it is a 2021 model. For a 2022 model, it will change to "N". The "F" in position 11 tells that it was made in Fremont. Likewise, once you are eyes-on your vehicle, you can see the manufacture month/year on the label on the driver's side B pillar.
I appears that Tesla will be introducing the 2022 models in January (?)

My experience was:
- 5:30 am: email "Final Payment is Ready". VIN was assigned in tesla.com at this point.
- 12:30 pm: txt msg "CONGRATULATIONS! .." And in tesla.com, the original EDD became a 2-hour delivery window.
