Trying not to think of thatCurious to know;
When the beta is dropped in Canada, I wonder if everyone at or close to 100% will get it, or will they limit even the folks at 100% ?
It would be brutal if someone is at 100% and still doesn’t get the drop.
Anyway, enough glass half full, I sense things are getting closer. !!!!
If I was betting, I would guess this weekend at this point …
It’s still possible by Saturday. Beta seems to be going well, so you never know.was REALLY hoping to have it by Saturday. My Grandfather is coming from New Brunswick and I wanted to show it off to him....
I feel like we may not even get it by then.
sigh....
There's one now in Canada!!! 2022.4.5.17A few new updates have just gone out. Unfortunately, they are US based updates only.
Also, it’s unclear if they are beta updates or something else at this point.
Hopefully we will know more later this morning.
That's not FSD BetaThere's one now in Canada!!! 2022.4.5.17

If you were on autopilot, then it would not register the phantom braking as a hard braking event.I’m so mad today
My score was always sitting at 96 due to some front collision warning (which was not my fault) at the first week
And recently it starts climbing back up to 97. And I should be able to reach 98 today or tomorrow.
But this morning, when I was driving my kids to school, on an empty road, nothing was ahead of me, then all of a sudden, Tesla’s famous feature kicks in, the Phantom Braking. Today’s score is only 60.
I thought braking does not count towards the score if you have your autopilot on?I’m so mad today

I was not on autopilot, and there were nothing on the road, no car nor human in front, nothing. And the car just suddenly brake itself, it brake so hard that if there was a car behind me, I’m sure he would have hit me.If you were on autopilot, then it would not register the phantom braking as a hard braking event.
You must have done something to trigger it on your own.
Wow. I honestly had to watch that a few times. Here is the moment
That’s the problem with using vision only system, if Tesla use LiDAR, that wouldn’t be happeningWow. I honestly had to watch that a few times.
From seeing it through the camera, i thought i saw a person standing in the middle of the road!
The lighting and puddles screwed with me. Maybe it did the same to the car???
Unless the vision over rides the Lidar for safety …That’s the problem with using vision only system, if Tesla use LiDAR, that wouldn’t be happening
Damn you're right. It does look like someone's standing in the middle of the road lol.Wow. I honestly had to watch that a few times.

Someone has shown that even the older design that has some light bleed doesn't normally impact the vision system. (What is displayed on the MCU is impacted much more because of compression/etc. than the raw data AP uses.)Lets put the camera right next to the blinker so at night when you change lanes the cameras will be blinded 50% of the time.
