I was talking to a fellow Tesla owner and he seemed to think there was a reward even for just the 1st referral this quarter. Can anyone confirm/deny this for me? I was under the impression you didn't get anything for the first one (other than the raffle entry).

Unless it's secret or undocumented.. There's never been mention of a prize for the first referral in the last two rounds. It's all here: Referral Program

Just driving the first week in Germany. A big grin in my face. Drove from Hamburg to Bonn (450km/280mi) with 1 supercharger visits. After a rest with coffee I arrived totally relaxed with 66% power left! No other car (EV or ICE) can cope with that.

Probably answered deep into this thread but here goes: if I have 3 referrals, do I *have* to take the jacket our could I take a bag and let a referral go to waste? Any idea?

Only having one referral, I don't actually know. I'd walk into a store and ask. That's what I did to confirm that there was no "prize" for the first referral, and they ended up giving me a pair of the touchscreen gloves. Ymmv, pretty sure they're just getting rid of stock from the stores.
That said if you can only get a jacket and don't want it, I'd gladly take it off your hands

I think you will get both a jacket and a bag. The last survey required you to choose for each. Tesla doesn't respond to most inquiries so you get what you get.

fyi - just received an email from Tesla regarding the previous referral program that ended Jul 15th - says my award preference (duffel bag) is being produced and should ship in about 3weeks.
meanwhile I'm still at 1 referral this time around - so still a couple away from that elusive jacket
