i received my VIN when my edd range was around 8-9 days like your current edd, so fingers crossed! i think my final edd before receiving a VIN was 7/18 - 7/27 and the week before my edd went up a day every day starting from 7/15 - 7/27.
following up on my own comment here. So, I got a text that my car has arrived and could be dropped off a day earlier (tomorrow). I have not needed to do anything about this "expired" financing, and it was all pushed through on Tesla's end.
nobody reached out to me, i called the burbank service center where i was supposed to pick up and talked to a sa on the phone to switch from cash to financing hours after i received a VIN. he was generally helpful, told me my car was on the way and that i'll be getting a text soon to schedule delivery, which i did the following day. my sa hasn't responded to me since i initially put my order in - way more efficient to call a sc and speak to someone there. now that you have your VIN they should be able to track it.
So, one final post about the EDD since I'll be getting my car tomorrow:

Anyhow, so, 72 days to get my VIN. Good luck to fellow members waiting. If you live in SoCal and uses SoCal Edison, remember their rebate is $1,000. Also there's the State rebate that you can apply to as well.
Stay strong y'all! All the frustrations will disappear when you get the VIN! Just expect at least 2+ months if you're in SoCal like me.

So I called the SC. Not really any help. Told me the earliest I could pick up my car is the 29th. But online my EDD states July 18-21
. Doesn’t make any sense to me. I live like 30 mins away from Fremont.
It’s normal. Mine also shows in next steps still with a picture of the insurance card. It does not show under completed.
