Another "3 - 13 weeks" EDD here as of this morning. 4/18 order - LR5/Black/White/Inductions, Temecula.

I emailed my SA this morning saying that my order will be canceled if I don’t get it soon. I just started a new business and I’m depending on this car to be my commuter. As much as I want it, getting skipped over by people in the same area who ordered over a month later is a bs system.

I’m a Tesla investor so I understand why but as a customer this sucks and that also can effect the share price/sentiment.

let’s see if I miraculously get a vin after saying I’m going to cancel.

Mine is still at "Estimated delivery: 3-13 weeks." Hopefully it changes for the better today. Glad to see some CA people getting VINs though!

Same as everyone else, my EDD disappeared yesterday afternoon. But a pleasant surprise this morning, my previous EDE of 5 -12 weeks is noe 6/14 - 6/30. Taken with a grain of salt as it seems these dates have no rhyme or reason.

Well, today is Delivery Day! As a reminder, I test drove and ordered April 5th (Black ex/white int/19 wheels/tow hitch) ... along the way saw my delivery date move a couple of times from between April 28-May 5th ... all the way to a June 15-30 which bummed me big time.

Then, 2 days ago I received a text out of the blue and voila ... Tesla Y to be "delivered" May 28 between 9-6 p.m. (was always under the assumption i would need to p/u in like Burbank?). Via text I was asked if I wanted the Y placed on the street or in my driveway - kind of a cool feature, tbh.

2 days ago was the 1st time I saw my VIN in My Account ... so I rushed to add to my current Insurance plan (easy) ... and completed all necessary online paperwork for the vehicle to be delivered today. Reminded my wife that she now parks in the driveway and I get the garage ha ha ... that's a first in like 20 years!

Totally excited and will try to remember to post an update as to how the process went today.

For those who got their VINs, do they give you an option to pickup or deliver to your house? Anyone else receive a text message a few days prior to getting their VIN asking to confirm home delivery?

Mine pulled in from 12-30 June to 4-24 June. However, I am out of town on 4-9 June. Hoping my SA isn’t lying when he says that won’t be a problem. :/

I am now back to 3-13 weeks as well. I must say that this constant drastic change in EDD is the most horrible customer experience.

Hopefully he's wrong. I ordered almost the same specs, but with 19inch gemini on 5/8 and still show a date range (following disappearance last night). Hopefully you'll get an update soon.

That is going to be a problem since "next quarter" would likely mean September. At that point I'd just wait until December to get a 2022 model.

That seems pretty unlikely from everything I’ve seen and heard. We both have essentially the same order made on the same day (April 19) in the SF Bay Area and a delivery specialist told me a day or two ago that the internal planning estimates at that point showed my car being built and delivered around the 3rd week of June. I haven’t seen convincing evidence that anything has drastically changed since then. Several people have reported here that they are being told that many Northern California deliveries will happen during the last 2 weeks of June.

3-13 weeks, ugh. Mine said May 28-June 14 two days ago. At least this time the range seems truthful. It basically means, if you don't get it this quarter, forget getting it until after July, which was my mentality when I ordered in mid-May. Customer experience gets and D so far.

Yeah, I hope the SA is wrong. I'll see what my SA says - but if he hedges AT ALL about getting pushed to a Q3 delivery, I will probably cancel. I know Tesla couldn't care less.

The Volvo XC40 recharge is looking kinda nice right now...
