Retrofit, I don't know, but drowsiness detection has been in vehicles for a long time already and generally uses the cameras to detect if you're bouncing between lane lines or weaving through them then throws warnings that you should pull over to rest. Any vehicle with basic lane keeping should do this, I have a rental 2023 Ford F150 XLT base trim that has it and was previously driving a 2021 F150 that did it.
Why is my FSD suddenly acting flawless? Really, didn’t have the update yet, but the last three day were flawless. Super confident and no mistakes what so ever.
11.4.7.2 has been fairly smooth for us. But the problem of darting into a right turn lane thinking it’s another lane on the highway is still there. Tried it 3 times. Failed all three. Stay on the ball folks. Gotta be quick.
FSD Beta 11.4.7.3 on 2023.27.7 could include the fix for NHTSA Oct 11th 23V-679 recall for Model X brake fluid light. It was originally fixed Sep 28th with 2023.32.7 (which does have general release FSD Beta 11.4.4), but "early access" is on 2023.27.x and specially noted in the recall:
For vehicles operating FSD Beta software releases, the above remedy will be included in an upcoming regularly scheduled FSD Beta software release. Similarly, no service visit is necessary and owners of affected vehicles operating FSD Beta software releases only need to install the upcoming regularly scheduled FSD Beta software release, again at no cost to owners.
