I'm totally stoked! I got to 5 as well, and looking forward to the wheels! Thanks to anyone who used my code. I enjoyed PM'ing with a couple of TMCers.

I really want to go to the Gigafactory but not sure of the date & time of the event: does anyone have solid info on this? I've read it is on Friday July 29th but is it an evening gala event, is there an afternoon tour, etc?

I kept looking at the MyTesla screen and refreshing to to be sure this happened for me, but just now when I loaded the screen (130am PST) the referral section is gone, and I don't see documentation anymore of my referral count. Anyone else seeing (or not seeing) this?

Keep an eye on this thread: Save the Date - Gigafactory Party July 29th in Reno But here's the basic schedule in the RSVP/Invite emails that went out this morning:

• Check-in will open at 5pm.
  
• Factory Tours and test rides will be offered on a first to arrive basis from 6-9pm. Time slots will be allocated at check-in.
  
• Remarks will begin at 9pm, tours and rides to resume after remarks.

This is normal. Same thing happened for all previous referral programs.

Last time I checked, I did get to 3! Not sure who got me to 3, the timeline is not clear to me. I too had wine... But no matter how it happened, that giraffe will be happy!

Should we expect an email from Tesla with the final count?

Thanks. I see people have received their actual invites to the Gigafactory today but I just got a lottery invite. My 4th and 5th referrals came right at the end of the program.

I'm wondering if some people are getting emails in the first wave for rewards from the prior referral program, and we in the current referral program will get the next wave of emails.

Has anyone who got their 4th and 5th referrals in the last 1-2 days of the program (and no other Gigafactory reward from prior referral programs) received the formal invitation yet?

I realize patience is a virtue but the very short notice needs lots of scrambling to make flight and work arrangements. I'm very excited to be part of it, but anxious to see actual confirmation, especially since I can't see any evidence of my reward tier on MyTesla anymore.

In another thread, @bonnie posted that this appears to be an error and she has apparently contacted the necessary people at Tesla to get this rectified! Thank goodness for great (and connected) members like Bonnie!

In the meantime I'll pass the time hammering my inbox.

Hope they get this resolved soon... I just got another (a second one) email from Tesla for the Gigafactory Lottery this evening. Around 9:45 PM Pacific. And we had 5 referrals.

The one thing I wonder is if your referrals had to be completed as deliveries before you receive any awards, which could eliminate the gigafactory attendance due to time constraint.

The way the incentive program was described, the only lottery was for the Model X, everything else appeared to be guaranteed for each referral level. If it really was a lottery for each level, I never saw any fine print that said so and if that wasn't out there somewhere in the official contest rules, Tesla is going to get sued and will likely lose.

The people in the stores etc. don't always know the details. My delivery specialist admitted often people on the forums knew more than he did.

Yeah, there's no flipping way ALL the tiers are a lottery. That's just someone who really doesn't know what they're talking about.

Unfortunately, not un-common at some Tesla sales/service centers.

I checked today and see there is a new referral program! It still shows the previous stats and rewards.

It shows that you can allow 10 friends $1,000 off! Maybe the previous one rolls over?
