I realize now that in the fog of waking up early and checking my phone to see if I got the blue button (pathetically, like I have been for weeks) I was so tired I totally missed out on the experience. I can’t even remember it now even though I know it happened.

After so many disappointing mornings I wish I would have savored that moment more 🤪😆🤣

I will be savoring the delivery though and I will upload photos..I don’t want you guys to get bored without me! 😇🤩🥳

Congrats. First blue I’ve seen in the Bay Area for a while. Although your VIN isn’t that new (they’re at 209/210 right now). I’m assuming it was a declined delivery and you were next in line for this particular config.
Interesting point. I sorted all the CA cars on the spread sheet and only 5 MY have VIN#s that are higher than mine and they are all performance models. I am not sure what to make of this. I will make sure to examine the car very carefully for sure! Mine will be a home delivery. I hope they won't just drop it off in my drive way 😂

I’m sure it’s fine. When I said “declined” i meant someone either decided not to get one or, more plausible, someone who had your config decided they couldn’t wait and jumped on a demo car. Either way, post pics when you get it!
 
I am sure this is somewhere in the 128 pages of the forum, yes I have looked, but I have a question of timing.
* How long do I have from when I'm notified (The Big Blue Button) to when I need to confirm and make my final payment?
* How long do I have from final payment to the scheduling call?
-- I understand that there is only a 3 day window for the actual delivery, does that include the above steps?

Is this in a "sticky" file someplace?

The reason I ask is that I am in Las Vegas this weekend and I will not be able to accept delivery Saturday <> Tuesday. Yes there is a good chance that it will not be an issue but *IF* I get a Blue Button I would like to know my options.

I totally agree. I didn't even realize that it was*the* blue button - was imaging a more flashy one. I clicked on it and suddenly realized that this was it. I tried to do screen capture but just missed it 😂 😂

It all depends but you should have at least three days to schedule. Could be more if the delivery center allows. Another potential option is to do touchless delivery where you sign all the docs online and they just drop it off at your house. Talk to your SA or delivery specialist about this.

As for payment, I was told by the delivery specialist that they absolutely will not even attempt to deliver your car if they haven’t received either your cash or financed payment (down payment is due at delivery).
 
I just got my VIN for a LR white/white, 19", LR ordered April 11. After refreshing for the 17th time today, I gasped when I saw the big blue button.

I got a text yesterday from a delivery specialist asking me to confirm my order and my address for home delivery. I asked if I could instead pick up from MDR, and they said I could.

Estimated delivery now says September, but this is almost certainly a bug now that I have a VIN. Hoping to get the car in the next few days!

I am scheduled for home delivery but having my brand new toy sitting on the driveway while I'm away does not sound like a good thing.
