I would be surprised if they created a special path/avenue for initial delivery issues. In my past experience with my better-half's 2018 Model 3 LR RWD, they've been pretty up front through the app with the cost estimates and responsive if you challenge any cost that would show up as should be free considering it's a delivery issue. That was with the Costa Mesa service center (which always seemed to be ridiculously full and busy). Your experience may be different depending on the service center. I'll be looking forward to my Irvine experience when I pick mine up on Saturday.

Received VIN yesterday and got a text to schedule delivery. Picking it up on 1/20 as it was the earliest option. EDD was 1/19-1/23 before I picked a date.

I am wondering the same about this logistic. What's your configuration? I saw from another post that if you transfer, then you need to either order another car or you switch with the person that you transfer the car too. It would be interesting to know.

You have to remove frunk tub... I don't think you would do that at delivery center.

The other option is to ask SA to look at your order. I think he can tell. At the same time ask him for the birthday of your car (he can see an exact date,)

I asked at two different showrooms here in SoCal just to make sure, and both confirmed that the cars delivered to our area do not come with PPF and mud flaps.

Any time you have an EDD update that's lower than 2 weeks, your expectations should increase that your VIN is imminent as it speaks to Tesla's confidence in getting your car built. That's the running theme in this forum. I will be picking up my car on 1/22 (assuming QC and transport goes according to plan). I was told it's built and still at Fremont (and confirmed it's an AMD Ryzen chip)

Day 157 today. OD: 8/14, MYLR7, White/Black, 19", no tow.

Original EDD 12/11-12/31, got pushed to 1/6-2/3 in December.
1/7 updated to 1/11-2/8. 1/12 updated to 1/18-2/1.

No change today. Hoping for an EDD soon. But 7 seaters are getting the shaft.

I hope you are right. I entered my 14 day window EDD for the first time today in this big long journey. If I make it through today without a big push delay to my EDD, I think I might realistically get this thing by next week!

Well I did say it was the general theme . If you look at my dates, that happened to me too in December. I'm hoping you'll see one more change and get your VIN soon.
