I had one good friend back out, and another give his referral to his brother-in-law (his wife made him). So I miss out on the GF tour no thanks to them.

Crap!! I was sitting at 3 referrals for the last 2 weeks... and then about two hours ago, it jumped to 4! I was so excited! I was also one away from the GF tour and powerwall with just 5 days to go.

And I go and look again now, and it's back to 3! WTF?

And now it's back to 4. Hope it sticks. Just need one more. (fingers crossed)

Yes it has ended. Referral links just bring you to the Design Studion without any discount.

Wouldn't the same state law that prohibits you from receiving $1000 Tesla credit prohibit you from receiving Powerwall and tickets to Gigafactory opening?

I think it varies from state to state. In VA, I think it definitely would, as the law is very strongly worded to disallow any kind of incentive whatsoever. It will be interesting to see how Tesla handles this. They appear not to have thought about it very carefully, which is concerning.

I just received an email from Jon McNeill, President, Global Sales and Service regarding the referral program. He confirmed that I qualified for the option to buy a Founder's X, receive the powerwall, and the invite to the gigaparty. "A member of our Inside Sales team will reach out within the next two weeks to confirm whether you intend to purchase a Founder Series Model X. They’ll be able to answer any questions you might have about configuration and lead times during the call."

Anyone else receive an email yet? Congrats to everyone: those that bought an S, all the referrers, etc. I suspect Q4 is going to be a blow out quarter for the Model S. It might even make up for the delays on the X on a units shipped basis.
